Team Building @ Eco Dusun Park
Recently I attended and so called "organized" a team building session camp for the university students. So on Saturday morning all of us gathered at the pick up point where the bus was there waiting to take us to our destination. By 9 am we are all already on our way to our destination which is at Eco Dusun Park. On arrival the place was actually located on the foot of a hill and the air was fresh and the water at the park was from nature. Here are some pictures of what activities we did.

All of us are required to eat at a common place where local food is being served. All food and drink are provided as there are no stalls at the park.

One of the activities requires students to rappel down from a 50 feet structure.

This is a group picture after an activity called water rafting which requires students to build a raft by using bamboos. I bet none of you can spot me in this picture!!

This is our last group picture before we depart back to university
Overall the event was fun. I had fun and I bet the students had fun too. In fact some students manage to overcome their fears during this team building event.

Community Service Initiatives
It's been year since I have done something for the community. This initiative is organize by the university that I am working at and the place that we headed to do some visiting is at Segamat. There are 3 places that we visited that is a disable children home, old folks home and orphanage. In total there are like 39 of us that when to Segamat and I am very amazed that the students has such a big heart and full of love!. We also collected loads of food stuff to be given to everyone. Here are some of the pictures on that day.

This is the group of students that I have to "manage" but they did not give me any problems as they are so obedient!

The first stop was at a disable home and the students did not was anytime to interact with the disable people and have fun with them.
The second place we visited is the old folks home where the students has a chance to show them some love and listen to their stories
The last place we visited is the orphanage and the students played some games with them and gave them some sweets! All in all it was a fun day....there are lots of pictures but I am not going to upload all of them but I feel that people once in a while need to give something back to the community. If you have not tried doing community service I strongly urge you to do so.
Ciao

A year since I left my blog.......
It's been almost a year since I've updated anything in my blog but I'm back to reflect on whats been going on with my life. Much has changed since my last post about the Muay Thai event that I have attended. So what has changed?
First of all I got a job at a reputable University (has a beautiful lake). I am basically a learning advisor doing advising and training for students. The training I conduct will be focusing more on soft skills which are skills needed for personal development. I love what I do because I get the satisfaction of changing the students life and I feel good when they thank me for inspiring them. I think I've discovered my passion in life that is helping people. I also has recently decide to improve my spiritual side in me. I might be ok on the outside but for a couple of years deep down in my heart there is a lot of turmoil. A lot of hatred, regret and anger used to consume my heart. So I made the decision to go back to church as I used to go to church when I was a teenager in high school. I think things happens for a reason so I am currently rediscovering God and by discovering my spiritual side I feel better. The church I go to is at Kepong. It is called Kepong Baptist Church. I would like to give a shout out to 2 wonderful people I meet there.

This is James. He is the Youth Leader at the church. He is a very good listener and a peaceful man. He has helped me a lot at the church by providing me answer to questions. I also believe he will be a very good leader in the future.

Another person I want to thank is Mary. I've known her back when I was in the UK. She is a very kind person. Don't be fooled by her image but she has a heart of gold. She sometimes can have a very sharp tongue but at heart she is a very loving person.
Btw, 2 days ago I decided to contact a very close friend of mine in the UK. I have not spoken to her for almost more than 1 and a half years. Her name is Ting and she works in the travel industry in the UK. Speaking to her after so long does bring back lots of good memories we had in the UK. She is one of the most loving person I have ever meet in my life and she always puts other people needs first before her own. I really do miss her a lot.

She is going to Germany for work for a week. In April, she will be going to Tibet on a backpacking trip by herself. Looking at the picture she looks so different from the last time I saw her. She looked so confident and she looked beautiful as always. I pray that she would have a fantastic trip and waiting to hear her stories when she comes back.
Anyway I think I shall stop writing now. Btw I will be going to Segamat this coming Saturday to aid the flood victims. I will blog about it. Bye.

TM-Z1 World Muay Thai Series
Fantastic! There was elbow strikes, knee strikes and load of blood. If any of you like stand up fighting than Muay Thai is the most exciting and brutal sport! Anyway there was 2 world championship belt on the line and the winners are from Brazil and Thailand. Kudos!
